Sunflower Field Information

HEAD TO THE FARM STAND TO CHECK-IN.
At check-in, the farmer will help you purchase how many sunflowers you're picking and give you freshly-sanitized clippers! Please note, clippers are limited to one set per group and are given out with a $10 cash deposit (deposit is returned with the return of the clippers). You will access the sunflower field by walking between the farm stand and ice cream shop, going down the hill, take a right to go past the animals.  

RESPECT THE SUNFLOWERS AND FIELD
Please only cut sunflowers you plan on taking and do not cut through rows. This causes damage to the sunflowers. Please do NOT enter any other areas of the farm other than the sunflower field.

DO WE HAVE TO REGISTER FOR A TIME SLOT?
Reservations are no longer required to visit the sunflower field. You're welcome to come pick sunflowers any day that the field is open from 9am-5pm (last customers allowed into the field at 4:45pm). Every person, 3 years old or over, must purchase a sunflower to enter the field. 1 stem admits 1 person, 3 stems admits 4 people, and 7 stems admits up to 9 people. 

PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOTS

If you are looking to have a professional photoshoot in the sunflower field, please read on. You arrange your photographer, we provide the beautiful backdrop.

  • There is a $50 per photo session, this can be paid at the farm stand or at the Upick table by the sunflower field.

  • Tangerini's will be open for sunflower picking and professional photography from 9am-5pm depending on picking conditions. Please check the top of this page or our Upick page for up-to-date field conditions. Tangerini's Farm reserves the right to close the field at any time. 

  • Professional photography shoots are NOT booked by reservations this year. This means you can come anytime between 9am-5pm (last entry into the field is at 4:30pm). Please note: You will likely not be in the field completely by your self. 

  • Professional photographers and clients MUST stay within the field and allowed areas at ALL times. When you check in with a staff member we will let you know where you can/can't go on the farm. Failure to follow these rules will result in immediate dismissal from the fields without a refund. 

  • Tangerini's does not arrange photographers; sessions must be arranged by the customer and/or photographer.
