At Tangerini's Farm, your special event will be surrounded by beautiful farm scenery. We work hard to make sure your time at the farm runs smoothly and professionally.

The Farmer's Porch is Tangerini's full-service restaurant. We are happy to provide delicious farm-to-table catering to make your event even more special. Please, no outside food, with the exception of desserts. Our catering menu can be found here

School/Camp Field Trip

Available Weekdays May - November

Included in your field trip:

  • 1.5 hour field trip $10 per child

  • 1 Event Coordinator

  • Guided educational hayride through our farm

  • Visit to our animals - animal feed bags can be purchased as an add-on

  • Seasonal activity - see below 

    • May - Paint a terra cotta flower pot and plant a flower​

    • June - Strawberry picking (dependent on weather and picking conditions)

    • July - Blueberry picking or wild flower picking (dependent on weather and picking conditions)

    • August - Blueberry picking or wild flower picking (dependent on weather and picking conditions)

    • Pumpkin picking & painting

      • Each child gets to pick one sugar pumpkin on the hayride

      • Non-toxic, washable paints will be provided back at the party room

    • November - Mason jar lantern craft with tissue paper and mod podge

Additional Birthday Party Info & FAQs

 

Birthday parties are best suited for children ages 2-8. If you're interested in a birthday party for an adult, we would LOVE to help you plan that as well! We have done a number of different celebrations for adults. Please head to our "Event Rental" page for more information.

Birthday parties are scheduled at 10am, 12:30pm, and 3pm. Party hosts may arrive 20 minutes prior to your party to set-up. Please note, set-up may be taking place during the same time as the prior event is cleaning up. If you will need more than 20 minutes to set-up, you will need to reserve additional time prior to your party. Additional rental time is $100/hour and is only available if there isn't already an event booked before yours. 

We must adhere to the specific time frame of your scheduled party. Please encourage party guests to arrive promptly, as we cannot extend party times for late arrivals. 

Please no outside food or beverages with the exception of cakes or dessert. Birthday Party Catering Packages can be purchased through The Farmer's Porch. Our catering menu can be found here

There are (5) 6' wooden picnic tables in the greenhouse for your use. We also have 8' folding tables that we use for any catered food and beverages. If you would like to bring disposable or cloth tablecloths for the picnic tables or food tables, please feel free to do so. 

A hayride can accommodate approximately 30 people. Not all adults need to accompany the kids but we do require some adults on each hayride. If you require additional hay wagons, they can be added to your party for $75.00. 

Party Add-Ons:

- Extra children (over the 10 per package): 20.00

- Extra hay wagon: 75.00

- Extra hostess: 90.00 (required for parties with more than 18 children)

- Animal feed: small bag 1.00/person

Where is the party located?

All birthday parties are hosted in our display greenhouse. During the months of May, June and beginning of July, part of this greenhouse is being used for retail plant sales. The birthday party area will have a separate entrance/exit for party guests. We are in the process of purchasing a tent that can be used for events. We are unaware of the exact date that the tent will be delivered. Once this is available we will post about it here. PLEASE NOTE: Your event will be taking place in a greenhouse, there are fans and louvers that can be opened, but on hot days, it is hot. Please be mindful of this when booking an event in July and August. 

What if it rains?

Dress accordingly for the outside time! The hay rides are not covered, and operate rain or shine. Typically the hayride is the first part of your event but if it is raining we may try to do it later in your party when the weather clears. Make sure to bring a coat and appropriate footwear. Of course, inside the greenhouse will be warm and dry.

Can we bring decorations? What about paper products?

Yes! Decorate however you would like. Please, no confetti or piñatas.

We provide all paper products, so you don't need to worry about paper plates, cups, silverware, or napkins. These paper products are either white or kraft brown. If you wish to use colored or themed paper products please feel free to bring them with you. If you would like to use our melamine plates and silverware there is an additional fee per person. If you would like to use china or ceramic table settings, we would be happy to help you with rentals. 

 

What about rentals?

If you're interested in renting linens, different tables & chairs, decor, or table settings we would be more than happy to help you create exactly what you have in mind. We work with several different rental companies and would be happy to coordinate deliveries of your rentals. *Please note, depending on what rentals are being used, additional fees may be involved for set-up and additional event space use. 

How early can we come set up?

You may come 20 minutes before your start time. There are multiple events during the day, so you may be setting up while we're still cleaning up the previous party and getting ready for yours. 

What about the hay maze?

Unfortunately, we have had to do away with the hay maze and it is no longer available.
