Seasonal Position- late April to mid November

Tangerini's Farm is seeking someone who is honest, creative and personable to manage our seasonal farm stand. The candidate should have retail experience and an artistic sense.

Responsibilities

• Stocking the farm stand with fresh produce each morning and throughout the day.
• Creating displays that highlight seasonal products and create interest.
• Estimating demand and placing orders for products.
• Cleaning displays, removing old/product, and neatening farmstand, greenhouse and outdoor displays.
• Managing cooler, freezer and shelf product inventory in addition to placing new orders.
• Managing greenhouse inventory, which includes displaying, watering, fertilizing and deadheading.
• Helping customers with purchases and answering questions about plants and produce.

Requirements

• The candidate must be excellent with customers and children. Must enjoy good food and advise customers on how to cook and store it.
• Must have retail leadership experience.
• Be well organized and goal oriented while working independently.
• Familiarity with vegetables, flowering plants and vegetable plant is a plus.

• Must have good work ethic and work well with others.
• Hours would be 30-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, depending on the season.

Compensation-

Wages- Depending on Experience

One Week Unpaid Vacation

Full Season CSA Membership May-March
