Classes-You Can Do It!

We offer a large variety of classes and presentations on gardening, flower arrangements, hanging baskets, window boxes, flower selection, and much, much more.

If you wish, you may sign up for the classes through the adult education departments in the towns of Millis, Medway and Norfolk, or simply sign up directly here on our website.

If you would like to schedule a class for a group please contact us by email or phone and we will arrange a time for you. These are fun gatherings for Garden Clubs, Newcomers Clubs, and church groups. All our classes are held in the greenhouse so dress appropriately.

U-Pick Flowers
Begins mid-July and continues everyday through mid-September. Most flowers are .50 cents per stem. We will provide you with buckets of water and clippers.

Hanging Moss Basket
This is no ordinary hanging basket. In fact, in time you will not be able to see the basket, just a wonderful ball of blooms. You will design and construct your 14” hanger using more than a dozen flowers and trailing vines that will thrive in a sunny or shady location. We encourage you to leave them in our greenhouse and we will care for them while they become established.

Remember this is no ordinary basket and makes a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Plants can be purchased at the farm; all other supplies will be provided to make this lovely hanging basket. Fee $30.00.

Window Boxes
It does not matter where you live; window boxes and other garden containers add final touches to any landscape. Designed properly, they will contribute a bounty of color all summer long, perking up areas that need just a little something.

Bring your window boxes or other containers (troughs, pot, and old boots) and we will help you create a garden showpiece. All materials except containers are available at the farm. This class lasts two hours, but feel free to stay longer and to create multiple containers. Plants may be purchased at the farm. Fee $20.00.
