About Us

Tangerini’s Spring Street Farm is a 67 acre working family farm established in 1995 on land that had been in agriculture since the early 1800’s.

The farm’s diverse operations include growing and selling a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, cut flowers, perennials, hanging baskets, and annuals. Tangerini's Farm sells it's produce through the on-site farm stand spring, main season and winter CSA as well as farmers markets (main season and winter).

The farm also supports other area farms and local fishermen by making their harvest available at the farm.Family Events are held regularly at the farm and our walking trail is open dawn to dusk.

If a few hours of entertainment are what you are looking for, visit the animals, u-pick field and oh yes, the ice cream shop.


Land Conservation Trust
Until 1982, this land was owned by Louis DeAngelis. Committed to securing the future of his farm, Mr. DeAngelis protected it by signing an Agricultural Preservation Restriction (APR), a legal document guaranteeing that the land would forever remain as active farmland.

Upon Deangelis’ death in 1993, the farm was bequeathed to the Massachusetts Land Conservation Trust (MLCT), an affiliate of the The Trustees of the Reservation. MLCT fulfilled the wishes of Mr. DeAngelis to have a new farmer take over the property by evaluating proposals from all over the region. Our community-centered vision for this property is what ultimately tipped the scale in our direction making us the new owners.

Our farm is a treasured piece of open space and a profitable agricultural operation for the people of Millis and the surrounding communities. The preservation of this property is a model for other landowners who wish to protect their property from future development.
